Vincent (Vince) Baglio is President of Baglio Consulting. His consulting work includes designing, developing and facilitating executive leadership, management development, and interpersonal skills programs; providing one-on-one executive coaching using feedback systems to help individual executives improve their effectiveness; facilitating strategic organizational change; teambuilding for senior management teams; and linking human resource plans to strategic business plans. He also conducts focus groups and designs and facilitates creative problem solving sessions and business simulations.

Before founding Baglio Consulting, Vince was in charge of Talent Development for New York Life Insurance Company. Among his many accomplishments at New York Life, Vince:

  • Designed a succession management process to ensure adequate bench strength for key jobs throughout the Company
  • Provided internal coaching for executives and high potential emerging leaders to support the Company’s succession management process.
  • Implemented a learning management system and supporting curriculum including Instructor Led courses, e-learning courses, book summaries and research-based tips and suggestions for on-the-job application.
  • Created a development planning process, providing company-wide training for managers on career coaching
  • Proposed and installed an enterprise-wide council of learning and development officers to align all learning and development initiatives with business needs
  • Revised and implemented a performance management process and supporting web-based system

Vince’s former clients before joining New York Life included GE, Citibank, Chase, American Banker/Bond Buyer, Praxair, Union Carbide, and the Brookfield Connecticut Board of Education.

Vince also holds a variety of professional certifications from organizations such as Korn Ferry, Career Systems International, Right Management Associates, and the Center for Creative Leadership.
