Russell is based in Oxford, UK and is passionate about developing leaders across complex, global organisations. Having previously worked for JPMorgan Chase, Accenture and BP in the areas of change and leadership development, Russell provides leadership development, leadership coaching, and team development services to leaders with a focus on increasing awareness, improving impact and creating sustainable performance shifts. His particular areas of interest includes coaching leaders one-to-one and in groups, working with powerful communications, creating agility in influencing styles, enhancing emotional intelligence, and improving team effectiveness.
Russell has been described by clients as “masterful, warm and delightfully edgy”, having served a range of global organisations across multiple industries (including Energy, Financial Services, Technology, Media, Telecoms, Professional Services) and geographies (Asia, the Middle East, the Americas and Europe). Russell takes a holistic approach to his work, drawing on developments from the field of emotional intelligence, and including relational, whole system and psychological perspectives.
Russell’s coaching practice is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), and he is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). He is an accredited Myers Briggs (MBTI) and Firo-B practitioner, is CIPD qualified and holds a 2.1 BA Hons degree in Human Resources. Russell is currently studying psychodynamic (psychological) perspectives part-time/post-grad at Oxford University.
