Her areas of focus include talent development and retention strategies, career development, coaching and mentoring, building bench strength, and multigenerational and multicultural development initiatives. Kim specializes in developing innovative solutions that align employee development with business strategies and results. She draws from a diverse career toolbox when designing programs that include virtual coaching, web-based assessments, and competency-based 360° survey instruments. Kim designs initiatives that focus on managing a diverse workforce and development strategies to help leaders and employees enhance cross-cultural and generational relations that have an impact on business results.

Kim has over 20 years of experience in senior level roles in the fields of human resources and organizational development. As Vice President of Human Resources for AmeriPlan a multi-regional HMO in the healthcare industry and a subsidiary of John Hancock, Comdial Corporation, and Gimbel Bros., she played a key role in a variety of start-up, turn-around, and re-engineering initiatives. Her professional background includes experience in healthcare, telecommunications, retail, and financial services.

Kim has presented at numerous professional organizations and conferences including; Linkage Best Practices in Leadership Development Summit, Federally Employed Women (FEW), NC State SHRM Conference, Urban Financial Services Coalition, Black Data Processing Association, Latino Summit, HR Gulf Coast Symposium, Pinehurst Leadership Forum, and the national and local Society of Human Resources Management. As a Human Resources professional, Kim has been an active member in both the Atlanta Chapter and National Society of Human Resource Management. She has served as a Past President for the Atlanta Chapter which is one of the largest HR professional chapters in the United States.

Kim is certified by the HR Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and has continued her studies in advanced professional development. Kim is certified in numerous 360° assessments including MRG, PDI, Benchmarks, and Voices. She is certified on HOGAN, Emotional Intelligence EQi, and the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) & conflict assessment; a tool which focuses on intercultural competence. Kim also is certified to deliver the Leading through Change program and Change Effectiveness Assessment tool for leaders.
