Geoff Curzon is an experienced Leadership Consultant, Facilitator, and Coach. For the past twelve years, Geoff has worked with a wide range of corporate clients in the public and private sectors designing and delivering strategic leadership development programs.  He has consulted for organizations that span the high technology, petrochemical, insurance, finance, utilities, social services, hospitality, professional services, and government sectors.

Geoff’s dynamic facilitation style creates an engaging and experiential learning environment.  He has trained and coached hundreds of professionals on all aspects of leadership and their personal effectiveness.  Geoff’s areas of expertise include: interviewing and selecting talent; building effective teams; leveraging diversity; coaching talent; engaging in difficult conversations; managing performance; resolving conflict; leading change; negotiating and influencing; motivating and engaging; fostering resilience; making strategic decisions; and maximizing personal productivity. As a coach, Geoff utilizes his background in personality assessment and personal productivity to partner with leaders in building and sustaining their long term success.  He has coached leaders at all levels, from front line to executive.

For the seven years prior to his work as a consultant, Geoff’s primary professional focus was in the field of high technology recruitment.  As a Recruiter, Team Leader, and independent Consultant, Geoff helped define recruitment strategy and process to build the talent base for business operations spanning software development, information technology, engineering, and senior management.  To ensure global organizations were able to meet their recruitment targets in times of rapid growth and change, Geoff was involved in numerous international search efforts in Europe, the US, and South Africa.

Before working in the high technology sector, Geoff spent eight years in a post-secondary educational setting managing programs, projects, teams, and events spanning recruitment and public relations.  As a coach and facilitator, Geoff developed and delivered an array of workshops for students on topics including public speaking, presentation skills, job search, networking, and interviewing.

Geoff holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia, and a Masters of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University.  He has also completed the Provincial Instructor Diploma program at Vancouver Community College, and the Co-Active coaching program offered by the Coaches Training Institute.  He is qualified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, The Strengths Deployment Inventory, DiSC, The Birkman Method, the LEA 360, ExperienceChange, and Fierce Conversations.
