Over twenty years of experience in leadership and business, in both technical and service environments have allowed Valarie to sculpt positive attitudes, perspectives and transformational changes. She has provided leadership and arbitration between technical and non-technical staffs in a billion-dollar merge; marshaled collaboration of cross-functional groups and executives to successfully integrate six brands; consulted with major health care provider to improve talent development and training; transformed a lethargic customer service group into an energetic team, which ultimately delivered legendary customer service and far exceeded performance goals and managed a company's first strategic customer partnership program, improving sales, profits, and relationships. Throughout her extensive work history, Valarie Willis has assumed crucial management, leadership, and consulting roles of significant scope. Among her notable consulting, and speaking successes are work she had completed for Nine West, Memorial Hospital and Health System, Witness Systems, Prudential Financials, Qwest, Mass Mutual Financials, New York Life, Anthem, Trend West Resorts, AMDOCS, government, Teva Pharmaceuticals and Seagate Technology. Valarie served as managing director of Client Services for a global training and consulting professional service firm and has held senior leadership positions in Information Systems, operations, customer service and mergers and acquisitions. She has managed many professionals and held key responsibilities in education and training, professional development, strategic planning, strategic partnerships and alliances, organizational transitions, customer service, information systems, and business processes. Valarie has delivered keynotes on leadership, innovation, brand alignment, customer service, women's issues, and more to Fortune 500 companies, colleges, non-profits, and others. Her style has been described as 'smart and sassy', as she speaks to audiences from hundreds to thousands. She has designed and conducted workshops on leadership, communication skill building, customer service, brand awareness and diversity awareness. Valarie holds an MBA from Xavier University and Bachelor of Arts from Wilmington College. Valarie serves her community through her church's outreach programs and through volunteering at non-profit organizations. She has served in several capacities at the Member's Trust Credit Union including President.
