TEAM BIOSSusanne Biro Leadership Coach Susanne Biro is a Leadership Coach at Bluepoint Leadership Development. As a certified coach, she specializes in the psychology of human motivation, the creation of peak performance, and the study and application of effective leadership. Susanne has worked with hundreds of senior leaders in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, as well as in Asia and the Middle East. Her clients range from the level of CEO and senior management to new managers in a diverse range of industries: Technology, Hospitality, Financial, Communications, Manufacturing, Airline, Real Estate, as well as Mechanical and Environmental Engineering. According to her clients, Susanne's strength lies in her “innate ability to distil the heart of the matter from the clutter and confusion that surround seemingly complex or difficult decisions.” Prior to coaching, Susanne was an executive with an international advertising agency where she was part of a team that managed million dollar hydro and telecommunications accounts. Susanne also spent twelve years in the service industry, which proved to be invaluable experience in learning how to establish and maintain quality long-term client relationships. Susanne is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and a member of the International Coach Federation. She is the co-author of Unleashed! Expecting Greatness and Other Secrets of Coaching for Exceptional Performance and the corresponding Leader as Coach™ workshop, and is trained to coach facilitate Bluepoint's The Leadership Experience™, Leadership Essentials™, The Leadership Challenge™ and The Leader's Voice™ workshops. Susanne has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, a Diploma in Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and has completed various specialty coach training programs: Corporate Coaching, A Bigger Game, The Art of Team Coaching, Appreciative Inquiry in Coaching and Group Process and Facilitation. Susanne received her Masters Degree in Coaching and Consulting/Applied Behavioral Science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle at Saybrook Graduate School.
