Jan Gelman Senior Facilitator

Jan Gelman is a Senior Consultant with Bluepoint Leadership Development. She is committed to helping individuals, teams and organizations develop leadership capacity, improve business practices, strengthen relationships and enhance performance to achieve bottom-line results. Her approach is to work collaboratively with her clients on specific business goals through executive coaching, performance consulting, team development, group facilitation and customized training.

Jan has more than 20 years of experience in business, communications, media, technology, e-commerce and product development. She has managed small and large teams; been through reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions; and worked with start ups and established organizations in public and private sectors. She has been as an internal leadership consultant at Washington State Labor & Industries and an external consultant with companies such as Microsoft, Whitepages.com, ShareBuilder, CarDomain, King County Metro Transit, FareStart and Gage Academy of Art. She has also held senior management positions with GiftCertificates.com, Sierra On-Line and Capital Cities/ABC. Additionally, she has published numerous business and lifestyle articles for New York magazine, MSN, Selling magazine and MSNBC; and books for young adults with Alfred A. Knopf, Simon & Schuster and Random House/Fodor's.

Jan holds a Master of Arts degree in applied behavioral science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle at Bastyr University and a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
