Jennifer L. Smith Senior Facilitator

Jennifer L. Smith is a Senior Facilitator with Bluepoint. She has over 15 years experience in designing and facilitating programs in areas of leadership development, talent management, employee engagement, change acceptance, strategy development, process improvement, and diversity/inclusion strategies. Participants in past sessions have described her style as engaging. She connects with participants and then uses her listening, critical thinking and coaching skills to ask questions that take participants on their individual journey while guiding the session towards the objectives. One of her strengths is helping participants create the bridge between content and how they can apply the learning... the W.I.I.F.M (what's in it for me).

Jennifer has consulted with companies in industries such as Consumer Products, Pharmaceutical, eCommerce, Insurance, and Non-Profit. She held various roles in Human Resources and Organization Development as an internal consultant at American Express, Electrolux, Catalent Pharma Solutions, General Electric, Panasonic, and Munich Re America.

When coaching, she works with clients to tap into their motivation and passion to help them achieve their goals. Jennifer believes that her clients are the experts in their lives and her value is being the expert in the coaching process. This creates the greatest opportunity for success. Using the power of questioning to unleash potential, clients begin to identify possibilities as they experience taking action to move forward. "Success occurs when we consistently take steps that lead us towards a goal," is a belief that guides her throughout the process.

Jennifer has a BS degree in Accounting from Grambling State University, is a graduate of General Electric's Financial Management Leadership Program (FMLP), and is a General Electric Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. She also holds an MS degree in Organization Development and Human Resources with a concentration in Organization Development from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Jennifer is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and is a member of the International Coach Federation.
